GREENSBORO, N.C. — Now it's time for a feel-good story about a good old boy named Karson.

Police officers responded to an apartment complex after receiving a report about a 4-year-old girl with special needs who was missing last week in Greensboro.

K-9 Karson was able to step in and come to the rescue quickly.

The Greensboro Police Department shared the following status on their social media page:

With no leads as to where she might have gone, K9 Karson stepped up to the task and picked up a scent! This led officers to a neighboring apartment complex along a dirt path where the little girl was found outside playing by herself.

The girl and mother were reunited, all thanks to this "good boy"!
