CHARLOTTE, N.C. — La Noticia announced a partnership with Wells Fargo to launch a local initiative aimed at improving the Latino community's financial well-being.

The project is called “Mi dinero y yo” (My Money and Me).  It aims to provide valuable financial information to the Latino community, empowering them to take steps towards greater financial independence.

Over the course of this three-year partnership, La Noticia will publish stories about financial education across various platforms, including print, LaNoticia.com, newsletters, social media, and YouTube.

The partnership was formed after a recent Wells Fargo Money Study found more than half of respondents admit to having a love-hate relationship with money.  The data suggests that discussing money-related topics is somewhat taboo, partly due to the prevalent low level of financial literacy.

La Noticia is an independent news organization in digital and print, providing valuable news and information in Spanish to the Latino community in the Charlotte area for the last 27 years.
