It looks like we won't be following the redneck escapades of sassy young Honey Boo Boo anymore.

Not even in reruns.

TLC has canceled the reality show in the wake of TMZ reports that Mama June Shannon is dating a man once convicted of child molestation. Shannon denied that she was seeing the man on daughter Alana's Facebook page.

The show, which follows the antics of pageant princess Alana Thompson and her family in McIntyre, Ga., kicked off in 2012 with a bang, averaging 2.3 million in the early months of the first season. At the time, then-TLC general manager Amy Winter cited the "unbridled hilarity" of the family.

The summer season that ended in August averaged 1.5 million viewers. The show hit a peak with a Sept. 11, 2013, episode centered around June and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson's wedding ceremony, which drew 3.2 million viewers.

In a statement given to USA TODAY on Friday, TLC said the show is done.

"TLC has cancelled the series Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately."

("All activities" is TV speak for reruns.)

The statement goes on to say: "Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well-being."

After the news broke, Mama June took to Facebook to share a "truth video" of herself talking about the cancellation and thanking fans for their support.
