ICYMI: First person to get iPhone 6 drops it on live TV

It was the fall of a phone heard around the world.

Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

The first guy in Perth, Australia to buy an iPhone 6 on Sept. 19 accidentally dropped the precious purchase.

And it was caught on live camera by media.

Channel 9 Australia was interviewing Jack Cooksey, who according to the news organization was waiting on the line overnight for the Apple product, when he pulled the box open to show it.

"I saw it hit the floor, and I was like, 'Oh, no,no,no,no,'" Cooksey told Channel 9 Australia.

The screen was scratched, the news organization reported, but Cooksey told Channel 9 he's looking "forward to tinkering" with the new phone. Be careful, Jack.
