Sunny and staying in the 70s today

In the 80s by Sunday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today:

Mostly sunny across the region today.  Highs will be in the mid 70s, with areas east and southeast in the upper 70s.  Temperatures overnight will fall into the low 50s.

Friday:

Look for a mix of clouds and sunshine with afternoon temperatures in the low 70s.  Skies overnight into Saturday morning will be mostly cloudy, with lows in the mid 50s.

Weekend

Saturday begins the warm-up. Highs return to the upper 70s under partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Sunday will be in the lower 80s again under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.

Tree pollen is the main cause of high pollen levels for late-April before these numbers eventually taper off by mid-late May.
