CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today (Weather Aware Day)

Mostly cloudy today with a chance of showers and a stray thunderstorm this morning.  Rain and storms are likely this afternoon into the evening with some severe thunderstorms possible.  It will be warmer, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.

Thursday

Skies will be partly cloudy in the morning and mostly sunny in the afternoon.  Look for highs in the low 80s.  This will be the only rain-free day the rest of the week.

Friday

Warm and humid with highs in the low 80s.  There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon with rain likely during the evening and overnight.
