Warm with a few showers and storms possible today

The unsettled pattern continues through most of the week.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today and Tuesday

Highs should be in the upper 70s to low 80s today with the chance of a few showers and a stray thunderstorm.  It' more of the same Tuesday, with the exception of afternoon temperatures.  Look for highs in the mid 80s, with upper 80s east and southeast of Charlotte.  Lows overnight will be  in the mid 60s.

Wednesday

Highs should make it into the upper 80s to near 90 in few spots.  This will be the warmest day of the week.  There's the chance of a few showers and storms during the afternoon and evening.  That chance will continue overnight, with lows in the upper 60s.

Thursday and Friday

Look for partly cloudy skies Thursday with highs in the mid 80s and the chance of a few showers and thunderstorms.  Rain and storms are likely Friday with highs around 80.  Those storms could continue into the evening, with lows overnight in the mid 50s.

Pollen Report

Tree pollen is the main cause of high pollen levels this time of year, but will slowly decrease throughout the month of May.
