A big warm-up with storm chances

A very nice weekend ahead!

Today

A few showers and storms this morning. There will be a mix of clouds and sunshine this afternoon with highs in the upper 80s.  Lows overnight will be in the upper 60s.

Wednesday

Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week. Highs should be near 90 degrees. The mugginess of the air will make it feel a little hotter than the actual temperature (heat index in the lower 90s). The chance of a storm is likely late afternoon and evening, with another severe weather chance. These could have very strong winds, with another round likely overnight into early Thursday.

Thursday and Friday

Thursday will be cooler in the lower to mid-80s and breezy as a cold front squeezes in. This front could bring some storms in the morning and again later in the afternoon. This front will pass overnight and bring highs back to the 70s on Friday. Friday morning will have a chance for rain to start the day, but it likely will start clearing later in the day. Behind the front, it will still be a breezy day but a drier feeling and more comfortable forecast.
