Big warm-up on the way

CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Today

More clouds than sunshine across the area today with some patchy fog this morning. A stray shower is possible this afternoon.  It will be a cooler afternoon, with highs in the low 70s.  Mostly cloudy overnight with lows in the mid 50s.

This Weekend

Saturday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon temperatures in the mid 70s with winds around five to ten mph.   Overnight, look for lows in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees,

Sunday should be a mostly sunny day with temperatures warming into the upper 70s to low 80s.  Sunday night will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s.

Tree pollen is the main cause of high pollen levels for late April before these numbers begin to decrease in May.
