CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was arrested in Milwaukee on Friday for a murder in southwest Charlotte last month.
Taravares Lee Greer was charged with murder, firearm by felon, and discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
The deadly shooting happened on March 23 in the 600 block of Parkaire Lane. Around 1:45 p.m., officers were called to the scene after an assault with a deadly weapon service call.
The victim, 31-year-old Leonard Lee Bowie Jr., was taken to the hospital where he later died.
