CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Monroe Road was shut down at Painter Place after a stolen vehicle struck a tree ejecting the driver.
The driver, who sustained non-life threatening injuries was transported to CMC-Main by Medic.
According to CMPD, the keys were in the car when it was stolen. The car did roll over during the crash.
Authorities have re-opened the road and are still investigating.
