Rock Hill, S.C. — October 19, officers from the Rock Hill Police Department held an active shooter training.
The training, held at the Galleria Mall in Rock Hill, was a realistic course which instructed officers and civilians on what to do in the event of an active shooter situation.
During the training, officers responded to a mock mass shooting at a night club.
Volunteers from from the community acted as victims, suffering from severe injuries.
The officers used the scenario to learn how to promptly end a threat and provide medical attention to multiple patients.
