Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo

220 E. Trade St., Suite 2200, Downtown Charlotte

Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo is a cocktail bar that offers modern American bites and panoramic views.

On the drinks menu, visitors can expect beer, wine and handcrafted cocktails.

Hungry? There are small plates like bison tartare served with Yukon potato chips, whipped horseradish, mustard aioli and egg yolk; and lobster club sliders with Duke's mayo, smoked bacon, lettuce and tomato.

Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo currently holds 3.5 stars out of eight reviews on Yelp, indicating fair reviews.

Brooke B., who reviewed the new spot on Sept. 30, wrote, "Awesome panoramic views of uptown Charlotte! It was worth the wait. The cocktails and the atmosphere were great. The hostesses were extremely friendly and there were lots of seating options all around the rooftop with a nice bar in the center area."

Nuvolé Rooftop TwentyTwo is open from 4 p.m.–midnight from Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 4 p.m.–11 p.m. on Sunday.

TapHaus49

13230 Carowinds Blvd., Yorkshire

TapHaus49 is a family-owned cocktail bar and modern American gastropub.

The new spot is pouring wine, beer and cocktails like the Pear Mule with Grey Goose Vodka, craft ginger beer, lime and pear. Pair your alcohol with bites like pimento cheese fritters, fig and prosciutto flatbread, sandwiches and wings.

With a 3.5-star rating out of 35 reviews on Yelp, TapHaus49 is still finding its way, but it's early days.

Paul N., who reviewed it on Sept. 10, wrote, "Great beer selection and TVs everywhere you look. The best part of this place is the great menu that is so diverse. Not standard sports bar food, I will be back often."

And Yelper J M. wrote, "Nice venue with an open floor plan that would fit a good bit of folks in a busy night. Clean restrooms also, which is a always a plus!"

TapHaus49 is open from 11 a.m.–midnight from Monday-Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 11:15 a.m.–midnight on Thursday and noon–midnight on Sunday.

Coin Bar

132 E. Trade St., Downtown Charlotte

Coin Bar recently opened up inside the Omni Charlotte Hotel. The rooftop pool bar features a huge double-sided LED television and offers weekly events like yoga and live music.

The drinks menu includes the Mango Pool Mule, made with vodka, Mango Reàl infused syrup, fresh lime and a can of Q Ginger Beer; the Blueberry Margarita with 12 Tequila, Blueberry Reàl infused syrup with lime and lemon juices; and the Mango Paloma with tequila, Reàl infused syrup, fresh lime and grapefruit. Yelpers are excited about Coin Bar, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of three reviews.

Amanda R., who visited the new spot on Sept. 18, wrote, "This place is great! We went on taco Tuesday and the food was amazing! We tried the tacos plus a few appetizers and everything was awesome."

Coin Bar is open from 4–10 p.m. from Monday-Thursday and noon–10 p.m. on Friday-Sunday.
