4 injured in west Charlotte shooting

CMPD is investigating a shooting that happened in west Charlotte on Father's Day.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are investigating a shooting that happened in west Charlotte on Father's Day.

The shooting happened at around 2:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Queen City Drive.

Police said four people were hurt in the shooting. Three people were transported from the shooting scene to CMC Main and a short time later, a fourth person was dropped off at Novant Main with a gunshot wound.

Detectives are currently canvassing the area to determine whether there are any witnesses to this incident.
