CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police detained four people in connection with the robbery of a pizza delivery driver Sunday night.
CMPD responded to a call on Millennium Avenue in southwest Charlotte a little after 6:15 p.m. CMPD was told a pizza delivery driver was robbed and officers on scene were able to get a description of the vehicle the suspects were in.
A short time later, officers found the suspect vehicle and all four occupants jumped and ran, CMPD said. The chase forced the LYNX Blue Line stations between Tyvola Road and Scaleybark Road to shut down briefly.
All four suspects were caught and taken into custody, CMPD said.
No one was hurt from the incident. Officials have not released the four suspects' identities.
