CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Novant Health and the Mecklenburg County Heath Department are teaming up to offer residents who have not yet received their flu shots two free opportunities to do so.
The first event will be at the Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center located at 10030 Gilead Road in Huntersville on Saturday, February 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The second event will be held at the Novant Health Matthews Medical Center located at 1500 Matthews Townships Parkway in Matthews on Monday, February 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The shots will be administered from the 'Community Care Cruiser' a 40-foot mobile clinic.
Officials encourage all residents from 6 months and older to get vaccinated.
No appointments are needed and Spanish speaking interpreters will be available.
